I'm a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Derbyshire, England. After eight years of working for a variety of graphic, publishing and print companies, I set up on my own, and have spent the last thirteen years working from home for a variety of great companies and, (for the most part), it's been an absolute blast!

On this site you'll find a broad range of the work, spanning over twenty years. It really doesn't seem that long ago, perhaps it's because I'm one of the lucky people who get to do a job they love.

Maybe you're here because your looking for an illustrator or graphic designer, maybe someone told you to come and take a look, maybe you just stumbled upon my site...whatever the reason for the visit, I hope you feel it hasn't been time wasted and maybe you'll even drop me a line to tell me what you think.

Finally, I'd like to thank all the companies I've worked with over the years, you've allowed me to earn a living from something I would have done for free in my spare time anyway, (no, I am not dropping my hourly rate - you get a very good deal from me already!).

After leaving college in 1987 with a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design, I initially worked as a layout artist, soon jumping ship to work for a couple of advertising agencies. In 1989 I went to work for Ladybird Books, around this time I also began using Apple Macs.
In 1991 I went to work for a local printers as Studio Manager until 1995 when I returned briefly to publishing. Later that year I switched to freelance design and illustration. I now work for clients in the UK, Europe and the U.S.
When I'm not working, I enjoy music, film, TV, surfing the web, online games, virtual worlds ...and a pint down the pub.
My illustration work has been influenced by Coop, Dali, Escher, Giger, Rodney Matthews, Ridley Scott, George Romero, Sam Raimi, Tolkien.
