Pilot Fields Brochure

Pilot Fields is an area of land in the East Midlands that was being offered as an commercial/industrial development opportunity

From the outset I wanted to do something with an aviation theme, I thought this would work well with the aerial photos that were to be used somewhere within the design. The problem is with these sorts of brochures is they are targetted at very busy people who often glance at the brochure which then ends up in the bin. The headline, (playing off a wingspan idea), was wrote to partially confuse the reader, the 49" refers to the overall width of the brochure, (hence the ruler measurements at the base of the design. The rear cover ends with "thank you for going to the length of reading this brochure".
The cover was assembled in Photoshop, (the runway/path didn't exist, it was created entirely in Photoshop), the inside spread continues the aviation theme with the air, traffic and control headings, the bottom centre circle was a CD mounted on the catalogue featuring additional information about Pilot Fields. Maps, layout design titles etc. all my concept, aerial photos and body copy supplied by Brighouse Hill.
