Submitted as a cover idea for The Berzerker's 4th album, but rejected as being too much like a Judas Priest album cover, a compliment that sugared the bitter pill of rejection! The Bezerker's album covers have so far been photo realistic 3D renders, and while this illustation is mainly a 3D Bryce render, it is clearly has more of a 2D illustrative feel to it. The overall effect I was aiming for was a style of illustration similar to that found on the front covers of graphic novels.
