The picture was intended as a straight forward 'electric chair/torture' thing, flying sparks, bolts of electricity etc., but I got sidetracked and went for a 'Mad Scientist tests new theory' image.
Basically it's of a guy trying to summon powers from other dimensions using modern technology rather than relying on the slaughtering of a lamb over an altar dressed in a daft hooded cape cliché.
Poser was used for the figure which was then dropped into a Bryce setting, postwork in Photoshop, linework in Illustrator
