The idea was further expanded on the back cover of the CD where the result of the confrontation between the muggers and the little match girl is revealed.
The back cover was generated from the Bryce file used to create the front cover of the CD, (railings, buildings, street lights etc). The fire proved a problem to render and so I decided to use a photograph, providing an excuse for a bonfire in my back garden.
Unfortunately the fire got slightly out of hand forcing me to take photographs from the back door of the house, at one point the flames reached about 30ft. Needless to say in my 20ft x20ft garden all plant life was destroyed.
As with the front cover, Poser models were added and then finishing touches were made using Photoshop. The barcode, tracklist etc. have been removed on this version to show more of the illustration.

The cover was created in Bryce (railings, buildings, street lights vehicles etc.) these were all built seperately, then assembled in the main image. The four Poser models were added, and at this stage the job moved on to Adobe Photoshop for post rendering "tweaking".
The Idea I had for the cover was that on picking the CD up you assumed the scene was set in Victorian times, only when you opened the CD up did the inside cover reveal the scene was in fact a futuristic sci-fi one.
